Description of occupation:
– I am a landscape / timelapse photographer and educator. My favorite part of my job is traveling to exotic and/or beautiful locales and capturing the beauty of nature so I can share it with others and inspire them to get outside and explore more. I love standing out under the night sky and creating still photographs and timelapse that evoke awe at the splendor of the natural world.

What inspires you?
– I am constantly challenged and inspired by the beauty of nature, whether I am in my backyard or on the other side of the globe. I also take great inspiration from instilling the spark of knowledge in my students and seeing what capabilities they discover in themselves.
What is your go to Mountainsmith product?
– I use my Parallax pack as my main daily workhorse gear bag. On the plane, I try to downsize gear so it fits into my Borealis AT. When backpacking, I try to pack only the essentials into my TourFX.
– Single malt scotch! If you need something non-alcoholic I’d say slippahs (aka flip flops)
What activities do you participate in?
– Hiking, skiing, playing the ukulele, DJ’ing deep tech house, sailing, carpentry, building flame effects art for Burning Man.
